CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

I haven't had my study programme as it should be because of the pandemic, so my opinion won't be as a regular student.

However, talking about the curriculum, I feel that as a cinema student I’ve been overwhelmed sometimes by subjects which aren’t fully related to cinema topics. I think it is a weakness in the way the program is structured because at least to me, it’s irrational don't have enough time to film or edit different projects because I have to spend much time on other subjects.

Talking about those subjects I feel take off my time to learn about cinema, I consider would be better if we take that time to specialize in some area which we are interested, because to me taking specialized subjects in the fourth year is too late on the career.

As I said before, I have not had a regular way of coursing my career, but I would like to have a lot more work in the field, because I believe there is the place and moment when we are able to learn how the world will be out of the university.

I couldn’t work as much as I would like on the university facilities but in general I think they are good enough to learn how to work in the industry.

I hope the authorities in my university would consider some of the topics I talk about here, because I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks things like this.
